About Us

We are a grain milling and storage facility located in Port Alberni. All profits from grain sales are reinvested back into improving grain harvesting, handling and milling infrastructure for Vancouver Island. One of our goals is to promote interest in growing and marketing locally grown grains.

We are also working with and supporting “Certified Organic” B.C., Alt. and Sask. farmers to direct market their harvest and also be better able to respond to consumer demand for new products and heritage grains. It is our belief that farmers need to work together co-operatively in order to create new opportunities that will ensure farm sustainability.

The grain products that we sell are of the highest quality. We buy directly from Certified Organic grain farms and do our own shipping whenever possible. These grains are then kept in a refrigerated and humidity controlled environment for the maximum in quality control. This gives us the ability to maintain the largest inventory and variety of “Certified Organic” grains on the Vancouver Island. We sell retail and do offer wholesale to bakeries and heath food stores. On request we will deliver and are presently setting up our own regular delivery distribution schedule. This will guarantee a fresher product and will minimize store inventory requirements.  Our milling and storage facility is health board inspected and approved.

Of the milled products the “Multi Grain Cereal” is our biggest seller. We have developed this product as a way of promoting the grains which are the main ingredients in this cereal. This will encourage farmers to grow them locally and organically for us, as they are well suited to our coastal climate.

Our Commitment to you is to provide the maximum in nutrition and health.
We will achieve this by using “Certified Organic” ingredients and by also doing our own “local fresh milling” just before the point of sale.
